Powerlon Ultrablock 300 is a three-in-one vapour control layer manufactured to be installed into roofs, walls and floors of buildings with high levels of humidity. A reinforced polyethylene membrane, Powerlon Ultrablock 300 has a thermo-reflective layer on the surface which helps with the insulation of the building. It will reflect heat back into the building whilst minimizing interstitial condensation and performing as a VCL.
This CE-marked 270gsm vapour control layer is silver/transparent in colour and manufactured from encapsulated aluminium foil and metallised barrier layers. The two combine to provide a high performance VCL with >25,000MNs/g vapour resistance. The multi-purpose VCL acts as an air barrier, a thermo-reflective layer and a VCL in one, simplifying the construction process and minimizing how many products you need for all its functions.
